Der GUARD-F1 erweitert die MPL Netzwerk Produktpalette mit einer robusten Industrie-Gigabit-Firewall / VPN-Router. Der GUARD-F1 kommt mit 3 Gigabit Ethernet Schnittstellen, wovon zwei als Kupfer- oder SFP-Ports verfügbar sind. Das speziell GUARD Gehäuse erlaubt die Firewall in rauer Umgebung ohne die Notwendigkeit von Lüftern oder Lüftungsöffnungen einzusetzen, und kann auf einer Hutschiene oder Wand montiert werden. Das kompakte Gehäuse bietet ausreichend Platz, um einen MAGBES (Managed Gigabit Switch) oder andere Peripheriegeräte hinzuzufügen. Der GUARD-F1 kann auf Ihre Bedürfnisse angepasst werden - auch mit IP67 Gehäuse und MIL Steckverbinder.

The GUARD-F1 Highlights

Die Betriebstemperatur reicht von -20°C bis +60°C und optional sogar -40°C bis +85°C, ohne Lüfter oder zusätzliche Öffnungen. Die verfügbaren Kupfer sowie SFP-Ports machen das Produkt universell. Der interne miniPCIe Slot ermöglicht verschiedene Erweiterungen wie WLAN, GPRS, usw.. Ergänzt mit einem externer USB-Anschluss und microSD-Speicherkarten-Steckplatz, für einfache Protokollierung und/oder Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten. Die GUARD-F1 kann über eine optionale back-plane für zusätzliche Schnittstellen angepasst werden; 2 SATA Ports, 3 USB Ports, 2 PCI-Express-Ports.

Software
The GUARD-F1 comes preinstalled with an adapted version of OpenWRT (www.openwrt.org). This Linux based embedded distribution provides all functionality required for operation as IPV4 and/or IPV6 firewall and router. The vast amount of additional packages available in conjunction with MPL support allows you to create a solution for every routing or firewall project.
Most of the configuration of the firmware installed can be done using a web based interface. For more specialized requirements, a console based configuration utility is available. All configuration is stored on the device in a human friendly text format and can be modified using a text editor, too.
